VerVent B.V. develops innovative sustainable solutions with a dedicated focus at the offshore wind industry.

A core team of VerVent specialists is working on concept designs of a novel drivetrain for large-scale Horizontal-Axis Wind Turbines (HAWTs) in the 10 – 20MW+ range and of a Vertical-Axis Wind Turbine (VAWT), that is  characterized by a split rotor with counter-rotating upper and lower section.

In addition to these two turbine developments, VerVent is developing a Compact Large Current Rotary Transfer (LCRT) order to be able to supply the power to the grid. This conductive paste can replace the carbon brushes that are still used in the actual wind turbines.
